Government High School Dobandi is the realization of a dream.  Govenment of KPK (NWFP) realized the need for a good quality school for the peoples of Dobandi and its affiliated villages like Makhan, Jogi Mohra, Jama Utman and  Bajeeda to provide quality education to all without discrimination. The School started on December 1959  with single building containing three rooms for Primary level of Education.The first administrator of the School was late Mr. Muhammad Iqbal from Pharhala Village, who supervised the education System as well as carried out admissions.
