First of all it was established as a primary School in 1952. then it was upgraded to Middle School in 1969. while it was upgraded to GHS in 1979. after 24 years it was upgraded to GHSS Batara in 2003. Total area of the very School (GHSS Batara Buner) is 19040 feet or 4 kanals. while the covered area fo the very School is 4896 feet. Facilities such as boundry wall, water, electricity and toilets are avaliable in the very School. Sinceroom, Computer Lab and Library are also avaliable here in GHSS Batara Buner.
