GHS Bagato, Hangu is situated at center of village council  Bagato in natural surroundings. It was initial inaugurated as Primary School in rented building comprising only on two rooms in 1949. Later, in 1983 Govt. building was constructed in the West of village, Bagato. With the passage of time, rooms have been added and upgraded to Middle School in 1999 while keeping the dire need of student where they moved from their own village or town for the next stage of their schooling. Finally, GMS bagato has been upgraded to High school in July 2011 and its foundation stone was laid by the than MPA Atiq Ur Rehman. Government High school is comparing on five rooms and a principal office. Later, two extra rooms have been constructed in the high school due to uncontrollable strength.
